Inexpensive, capable, consumer drones have hit the market recently, creating what can only be described as drone mania amongst a diverse range of potential users. Because camera-carrying drones still really only exist on the edge between hobby and the mainstream, there is still a lot of confusion about what these small drones are capable of doing. This book aims to answer these questions and be the definitive guide to aerial photography and videography using consumer drones.

Topics in the book include equipment required, tips on how to get started, a pilot training tutorial, aerial imaging techniques, and post-shoot workflow. The drones used in the book are DJI Phantoms, which are by far the most mature and popular in their space, but all of the instruction will be presented so that any drone owner can easily follow along.
