Published in conjunction with London’s Imperial War Museum, Churchill at War paints a rich portrait of his inspirational leadership at a time when the world's fate hung in the balance. Lavishly illustrated, it showcases 200 photographs—some previously unpublished, all rarely seen—from the Museum’s exceptional archives. Historical background by Churchill’s official biographer, Sir Martin Gilbert, illuminates the many sides of this remarkable man during his finest hour.
