"Pound" is a prelude to the story. The little boy was hitting to the forest, he asked serial animals: "Will you pound?" Although animals don't have idea of "Pound", they were trying to produce different sounds to show their unique abilities. What is the meaning of "Pound"? 張韻珊，香港理工大學視像傳意學士，現職插畫，平面設計。工餘時，亦擔任親子藝術工作坊導師。2011年獲香港設計師協會環球設計大獎 Excellence Award。
大兒子出生後，常與共讀繪本，並銘感它為孩子所帶來的喜悅，於是嘗試創作繪本。本書靈感來自兒子的生活體驗，咚！日常不過的小事，卻是兒子成長的印記；能以繪本紀錄生命中的一瞬，更是恩典。
